Easy to use

The Finscan system can be used for both green and dry sorting. The system is very user-friendly, with an intuitive interface. Finscan also provides comprehensive web reporting tools for operators, production planners and management.

A patented mirror scanning system

Finscan optimizes and grades boards according to the given quality rules and provides accurate information for board trimming and sorting. Every board is measured on all four sides and a full analysis of the features and defects of sawn timber is ensured.

Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning AI) is integrated into all quality scanners from log to finished board. The AI knowledge of all MiCROTEC companies is merged into the MiCROTEC Ai platform, raising the possibilities of Deep Learning AI in the wood industry to a completely new level.

New MiCROTEC 3D module and uniform-colored lamps

The new MiCROTEC 3D module with in-house developed Crometic cameras, ensures full-length real thickness measurement and enhanced wane detection. Thanks to the new uniformed colored lamps customers also benefit from a refined color measurement and full integration into the MiCROTEC Ai platform and MiCROTEC Connect. Included in the new Finscan 900 and available as an upgrade to the current Finscan version.
